Configuring Application Settings

The Designer tab of the Settings dialog (Options > Settings) enables you to configure general application settings for the Designer.
Settings are listed and described in the following table:

Provide summary when the mouse is over an element |
When this checkbox is selected, a summary of the element’s configuration settings is displayed in a tooltip when the mouse pointer is positioned over the element. |
Keep the summary open when the mouse is over an element |
When this checkbox is selected, the summary is displayed for the entire period in which the mouse pointer is positioned over the element. |
Follow the highlight path when running the Interaction |
When this checkbox is selected, the element that is currently being run is highlighted in yellow in the work area of the Interaction Designer. |
When this checkbox is selected, the Element Explorer pane is displayed on the left side of the Interaction Designer. This pane lists all Interaction elements that are defined (or predefined) in the Interaction. |

Show Event Handler map and options |
When this checkbox is selected, the Event Handler tab is displayed at the bottom of the Interaction Designer. |
Use Right-To-Left orientation |
When this checkbox is selected, right-to-left presentation of text in Interaction elements is supported. |
