The Change Password button, which is accessed from the Edit User's Details page, enables you to change the password used to access the Admin Console. The following rules apply to the Change Password feature:
•Users with standard privileges may change their own password.
•Users with administrative privileges are authorized to change the password of another user.
•The password of an inactive user may not be changed.
The procedure for changing a password varies slightly, depending on the privileges of the user performing the procedure.
1.At the upper right corner of the User's Details page, click Edit. The Edit User's Details page is displayed. 2.At the right upper portion of the page, click Change Password. The Change Password dialog opens. 3.In the Current Password textbox, enter your current password. 4.In the New Password textbox, enter the new password. Then, re-enter the new password in the Retype Password textbox. 5.Click Change Password. The Change Password dialog closes. A confirmation message is displayed, and the new password is saved in the system. |
