Edit Menu

Edit menu actions enable you to manage Interaction elements. The options are listed and described in the following table.

Undo

Reverses changes made to an Interaction.

Redo

Replaces previously undone changes to an Interaction.

Cut

IconCut

Copies and then removes an element from an Interaction. The element can be reinserted at a later point using the Paste option.

Copy

IconCopy

Copies an element from an Interaction. The copy can then be used to create a new instance of the element, using the Paste option.

Paste

IconPaste

Inserts the last copied or cut element onto the Interaction, in the location of the previously copied or cut element.

Delete

IconDelete

Removes the currently selected element from the Interaction.

Select all

Selects all visible elements on the Interaction. This allows the user to perform aggregate functions (e.g., Move) on the selected elements.

Variable Set Definitions

Enables designers to specify which variables are exposed in the APIs used in the Interaction. For details, refer to Editing Variable Sets.

Resources

Displays a list of all Resources. It also allows users to create new items and manage existing ones. For details, refer to Resources.

Interaction summary

Allows users to view and modify additional details which are saved together with an Interaction. This additional information includes name, versioning, description, default interview prefixes, and default yes/no texts for Questions.

Find

Allows users to search for text or properties of Interaction elements.

Set as start element

N/A

Sets the element that defines where all Interaction interviews initialize from. All Interactions must have a visual Interaction element set as a start element.
Note: An Interaction Reference element cannot be set as the starting element.
