Viewing and Updating System Administrator Details

Clicking the link in the Full Name column in the grid on the System Administrators page opens a Details page for the selected user. This page provides a list of general details related to the System Administrator.

Clicking the Edit button, at the upper right corner of the page, enables you to modify account details and change the password used by the System Administrator to access the Admin Console.

Generally, all account details are modifiable. However, you cannot change your own username, or inactivate your own account.

To update system account details:

1.From the Details page of the relevant user, click Edit.

Account details become editable.

Updating Administrator Details

2.Update account details as required, by entering new values in the appropriate textboxes. The following parameters are required:

First name

Last name

Alias

Email

Username

3.From the Active dropdown list, select Yes or No, as required.

When you select No, the System Administrator is unable to access the Admin Console.

4.At the upper right corner of the page, click Save.

A confirmation message appears, and changes are saved in the system.

The Change Password button enables you to change the password used by a System Administrator.

To change a password for a System Administrator:

1.From the Details page of the relevant System Administrator, click Edit.

Account details become editable.

2.At the upper right corner of the page, click Change Password.

The Change Password popup opens.

3.In the Current Password field, enter the password currently used by the account. (This field appears only if you are changing your own password.)

4.In the New Password field, enter the new password. Then, re-enter it in the Retype Password field.

5.Click Change Password.

A confirmation message appears. The new password is saved, and the old password is obsolete.
