Jacada Interaction Server is a management tool and web service that provides the following main functions:
•Runs Interactions in runtime: Multiple designers publish Interactions to the server. These Interactions can then be run by users through a variety of Jacada Interaction Server applications, e.g., the Mobile Web application, Agent Application, and so on.
•Enables general administration of the system: The Jacada Interaction Server Admin Console allows administrators to perform management functions, such as:
oRun, edit, delete, and approve published Interactions using basic workflow approval techniques.
oManage applications and their authentication settings.
oDefine web service Integration Points and Interaction variables.
oAdd new users and manage user profiles.
For the system to operate normally, server settings need to be properly configured, and the server must be deployed onto a suitable Java application server. The following sections provide installation prerequisites, a detailed explanation of the installation process, and an overview of post-installation procedures.
