Deleting Interaction Variables

Interaction variables can be deleted from the system, using the Delete button. This button can be accessed from either the Interaction Variables page or the Interaction Variable: <variable name> page.

A system or Read Only variable that is in use in the latest version of an existing Interaction may not be deleted. If the variable was used in a previous version of an Interaction, a warning popup appears when you delete the variable.

tog_minusTo delete interaction variables (from the Interaction Variables page):

1.At the left side of the Interaction Variables grid, select the checkbox(es) in the row(s) of the variable(s) you want to delete. To select all variables, click the column header at the upper left corner of the grid.

The Delete button is enabled.

2.Click Delete.

A warning popup opens.

3.Click Yes.

A confirmation message is displayed. The variable is removed from the Interaction Variables grid.
tog_minusTo delete interaction variables (from the Interaction Variable Details page):

1.From the Interaction Variables grid, in the row of the Interaction you want to delete, click the link in the Name column.

The Interaction Variable: <variable name> page is displayed.

2.At the upper right corner of the page, click Delete.

A warning popup opens.

3.Click Yes.

A confirmation message is displayed. The variable is removed from the Interaction Variables grid.
